Message from the Head of Department
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at RSM Polytechnic was established in
2024.
The department is committed to providing students with strong foundations in Artificial Intelligence,
Machine Learning, programming, computer science and emerging technologies, along with practical exposure
required to meet the challenges of modern technology-driven industries.
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is an interdisciplinary field of engineering that combines
computer science, mathematics, data processing and intelligent computing techniques to develop systems
capable of learning, reasoning, analysing information and solving complex real-world problems.
The field provides students with opportunities to explore both theoretical concepts and practical
applications of intelligent technologies.
In today’s technology-driven era, students with excellent coding skills and a willingness to learn new
programming languages and technologies have numerous career opportunities. Artificial Intelligence and
Machine Learning is one of the rapidly growing fields, offering exciting career paths in areas such as
software development, data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, automation, analytics
and intelligent application development.
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning focuses on developing students’
