MVP’s Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Polytechnic, Nashik, Department of Information Technology successfully organized a Skill Development Program on “Introduction to PHP Development” on 30th July 2026 for Second Year Information Technology students.
The primary objective of the program was to introduce students to PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor), one of the most widely used server-side scripting languages for web development. The session provided an overview of web technologies, including the fundamentals of front-end and back-end development, the role of PHP in creating dynamic web applications, and its practical applications in the software industry.
The resource person, Ms. Prachi Khairnar, conducted an informative and interactive session that helped students understand the core concepts of PHP programming, server-side scripting, and web application development. The session also included a demonstration of PHP installation and environment setup, along with basic PHP programs, enabling students to gain hands-on exposure to PHP development.
The program was coordinated by Ms. P. K. Khairnar under the guidance of Ms. Madhuri Patil (Head of Department – Information Technology) and Prof. Prashant Patil (Principal). The session was well received by the students and significantly enhanced their technical knowledge, practical skills, and interest in web development technologies.
