MVP Polytechnic Professors Become ‘Innovation Ambassadors’

Nashik: Professors from Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Polytechnic College of Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj have successfully completed the Institute Innovation Council (IIC) – Innovation Ambassador (IA) training program organized under the guidance of the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The objective of this training program was to further strengthen the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem among professors and students. In this program, experts provided guidance on innovation management, startup culture, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), design thinking, incubation opportunities, and entrepreneurship development.

Beneficiaries of this training program will join the ‘IIC-Innovation Ambassador’ network and serve as mentors in their respective ‘IICs’. Furthermore, these Innovation Ambassadors will assist as resource persons in organizing innovation and startup-related activities across various IICs and ‘ATLs’ (Atal Tinkering Labs), delivering messages of innovation and startups among students and faculty. Additionally, they can act as evaluators to assess ideas submitted to MIC and AICTE.

A total of 50 professors from the institute actively registered and successfully completed this training program. Adv. Nitin Thakare (General Secretary of MVP), Balasaheb Kshirsagar (President), Dr. Sunil Dhikle (Chairman), Vishwas More (Vice President), Devram Mogal (Vice Chairman), Dilip Dalvi (Secretary), the Board of Directors, Dr. D. D. Lokhande (Education Officer), and Principal Prashant Patil praised the professors for their accomplishment.
