Parent Teacher’s Meet

On September 03-2024, MVPS’s Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Polytechnic in Nashik organized a Parents-Teacher Meet, facilitated by the Science and Humanity Department, specifically for the parents of first-year students. The event was held under the esteemed guidance of the Honorable Principal, Mr. Prashant Patil, and the Head of the Science and Humanity Department, Mr. T. K. Thange. The event fostered a sense of collaboration and engagement between the parents and the academic staff. The meet took place after the first class test. The aim of the meet was to make parents aware of their wards’ educational progress, as well as their behavior within the institute, and their attendance record. If a student is frequently absent, it is the parents’ responsibility to contact their class coordinator. The event commenced with Mrs. V. R. Bagdane giving an introduction and stating the motto of the event. Subsequently, the HOD of the Science and Humanity Department provided information about scholarship opportunities and discussed the students’ academic performance, including the results of the first class test. Following this, the Honorable Principal, Mr. Prashant Patil, addressed the parents and shared insights on the students’ progress in the first class test. He urged parents not to provide mobile phones to their children if they are unnecessary and emphasized the importance of reviewing their children’s class test answer sheets to understand their actual academic growth. To conclude the event, our honorable Principal shared his valuable thoughts with the parents and addressed any questions they had. The program concluded with a question and answer session, allowing parents to seek further clarification. Following this, parents were allowed to visit their respective class coordinators to learn about their wards’ presence in class and their conduct within the institute. Class coordinators also showed parents their wards’ marks and provided access to their answer sheets for all subjects. Subject teachers also followed a similar process, allowing parents to inquire about their ward’s progress in each subject.
