Program Outcomes (PO)

PO1: Basic and discipline specific knowledge: Demonstrate knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the mechanical engineering problems.

PO2: Problem analysis: Locate and solve well-defined mechanical engineering problems using codified standard methods.

PO3: Design/development of solutions: Prepare solutions for well-defined mechanical problems and assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.
 
PO4: Engineering tools, experimentation and testing: Use modern mechanical  engineering tools and appropriate techniques to conduct standard tests and measurements.
 
PO5: Engineering practices for society, sustainability and environment: Operate appropriate Mechanical Engineering technology for society, sustainability, environment and ethical practices.
 
PO6: Project management: Apply engineering management principles individually, as a team member or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate about well-defined engineering activities.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSO)

PSO1: To produce creative Engineers who can apply practical skills, knowledge in major streams such as thermal, design, manufacturing and industrial engineering.

PSO2: To develop Mechanical engineer able to use the CAD/CREO/CNC software effectively in the design, analysis and manufacturing of mechanical components and systems with quality control technique & operational parameter.
