Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Polytechnic participated in a historic event under Mission Nari Suraksha, where 25,000 individuals came together to take an oath in support of women’s safety and empowerment. Organized by JCI Grape City, this initiative featured participants signing the world’s largest signature book, symbolizing a collective commitment to ensuring the security and dignity of women. The mission aimed to set a record in the Amazing World Records, highlighting the global importance of women’s safety. The signature book travelled across various locations in Nashik by van, spreading the message of Nari Suraksha to different communities. To further strengthen the movement, a copy of the book was sent to the Prime Minister’s office, raising awareness among millions and reinforcing the nation’s dedication to protecting and empowering women. On September 12, 2024, the van arrived at Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Polytechnic, where all students took an oath to protect women by all means. The pledge included the commitment: “I pledge that I will not abuse women. Women’s safety will be my top priority. It will be my mission to treat women with dignity and equality, and I will inspire others to do the same.” Students from all departments participated in this mission by signing the oath book, contributing to a powerful message of solidarity and action for women’s safety.
