A guest lecture on the topic “Air Pollution and Awareness of Airway Diseases” was held at NDMVP’s Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Polytechnic in Nashik. The event aimed to provide accurate and age-appropriate information about the negative effects of air pollution on health, including how it is harmful to people even if they do not have lung diseases, but it is particularly dangerous for people living with asthma, COPD, and other respiratory ailments or airway diseases. The program was conducted in the seminar hall and was attended by the HOD of Information Technology, Mrs. M. B. Patil, other staff members, and the guest speaker, Dr. Sushma Dugad. She is a Professor and the Head of the Respiratory Medicine Department (TB and Chest Diseases) and a Master Trainer in Laughter Yoga.
