Department of Electrical Engineering was established in the year 2012 approved by AICTE and MSBTE with an intake of 60 students. It is a branch of engineering that deals with the study of design and application of equipment, devices and systems which use ac as well as dc electricity and renewable energy along with power electronics and electromagnetism. The department regularly organizes industrial visits, technical expert talks and skill development based programs for each semester based on core subject practical knowledge. Hands on training based workshops for software like MATLAB, Auto-CAD etc. are arranged for students in the department to enhance their practical skills. Faculty take efforts for proper selection of application based projects of final year students considering recent trends in electrical engineering. The students of electrical engineering have ample of job opportunities in government as well as private sectors including design engineer, maintenance engineering, testing engineer, energy manager and auditor, and many more. Many students after passing out are self-employed as an electrical contractor and consultant. The branch of electrical engineering is going to have greatest demand in future considering emerging era of electrical vehicles in India and abroad.<\/p>\r\n
